Preview Events for Accepted Students: On-Campus, Online, and Off-Campus

Congratulations to all of our accepted master's students!

(Remember we have rolling admissions for most of our master's programs, so if you haven't submitted your application yet, there's still time to be accepted to Penn GSE. Check program deadlines here.)

We hope that you have visited our Accepted Students webpage to get started on our checklist. We also hope that you will be able to join us for a preview event! The great news is that we offer many preview events, so hopefully you can find one that will work for you and your schedule:
  1. On-Campus For those who live near the Philadelphia area or are able to make a trip to Philadelphia and learn more about the city in which we live and study!
  2. Off-Campus For those who live near Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York, NY; or Washington, DC to meet with Faculty, Admissions and Alumni Relations staff members, and local alumni.
  3. Online For those who are unable to make it Philadelphia, or one of the above listed cities, but still want to learn what it's like to be a Penn GSE student.
We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you to the Penn GSE community soon!

  1. What if we didn't hear anything yet? Does that mean we're not accepted if we haven't heard?

  2. Since this post congratulates all the accepted master's students, have the decisions being sent out for all the programs (masters) or just the Higher Ed.?

  3. Because admissions is rolling for most of our master's programs, you will find out your decision within about a month of completing your application.

If you haven't yet received your decision, just sit tight, you should receive it about a month after your application was sent for faculty review!

  4. Does this mean that all of the Higher Ed spots have been filled, or is there still a chance for those of us waiting to hear back from that program?

Penn GSE is one of my top choices so I'm hoping for a positive decision!

  5. You should receive your admissions decision about 1 month after your file has been sent for faculty review--so keep an eye on your email!

Our Higher Education master's program is still accepting applications now, but is close to it's deadline. For those planning to apply for Fall 2013, look for a blog post today with details about the deadline.
